چکیده
The availability of consumer-facing virtual reality (VR) headsets makes training an attractive alternative to expensive traditional training. Recent works showed that virtually trained workers perform bimanual assembly tasks equally well as ones with methods. This paper presents a study investigated how levels immersion affect learning transfer between and physical gearbox tasks. used with-in subject design examined three different systems i.e., VR direct 3D inputs (HTC VIVE Pro), without (Google Cardboard), passive video-based 23 participants were recruited. effectiveness was measured by participant’s performance assembling 3D-printed copies the gearboxes in two timings: immediately after 2 weeks result preferred immersive Surprisingly, despite being less favourable, subjects’ similar on HTC Pro.
